Hey there!

Welcome to Nutrition for Performance. My name is Cameron Branch. I am a former professional volleyball athlete that was fortunate enough to play in 2 European championships (France & Austria) and compete with Team Canada at the 2017 Universiade competition that took place in Taipei, Taiwan. I have also played 5 years with Nipissing University Lakers Men’s Volleyball, completing a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree.

Of recent, I have been curious about "active recovery" and its role in high performance sport. Active recovery is very influential in performance, and nutrition plays a salient part in active recovery. I am currently working as a performance consultant for a variety of varsity sport programs including Nipissing University Lakers Women's Hockey, Nipissing University Lakers Men's Volleyball, Canadore College Men's Volleyball, Canadore College Men's Basketball, and North Bay Youth Volleyball Club. I am also supporting progressional athletes around the world with active recovery, specifically focusing on Nutrition for Performance (this guidebook). My practice is based out of North Bay, Ontario, Canada. I am the founder of Branch Sports Performance and I am the author of this sports nutrition guidebook.
